WHOA
Sorry I haven't posted forever! I had a rough few weeks with my computer. My hardrive crashed and I thought I lost everything new on my film Im working on! It was horrible. Luckily I got it all back but it cost me 1700 bucks!!

ReplyDeleteGlad you did not lose your project. I had a drive crap out o me a year ago. Luckily, I only lost studies and nothing all too important. Sucks arse!

I'm glad you were able to recover your projects! I learned my lesson the hard way and I didn't have any money for data recovery either. Always back stuff up folks, you never know when your drive will crap out! I recommend an external Firewire or USB 2 drive. Don't forget to back work up every day.

ReplyDeleteDo you know 3d? Or did you just whip up character design drawings and the like. It'll really knock my socks off if you're animating 3D (and I'm praying for the sake of my own sanity that you aren't rigging and texturing and all that like). Cheers.

ReplyDeletehehe the only 3d I know is texturing. I textured characters that the lead 3d guy, Chris Fram at Fuel Industries builds and Rigs. He created some characters of mine for a project and they look FRICKIN GREAT!

Glad ya got your computer back and running. I remembered my computer crashed a month before my animation portfolio. Good thing I backed up everything in 3 different ways like 2nd hard drive, DVD's, and portable hard drive. Sorry it costed ya some major clams. Other than that, keep up the good work.
