Im cleaning up these characters for work. I put them all in a pile when I finished cleaning them. I loved the way they all looked together. I wanna make more of them! Its my new art form.Cartoon Piles!!
How do you go about cleaning up your drawings/work? Your cartoon Piles reminds me of how the Capcom illustrators/artist would pile up their videogame characters. This is neat, thanks for sharing.
Awesome work Jessica, your cartoons really remind me of the good old days of animation. When I see them it takes me back to when cartoons were hand crafted instead of rendered on a computer. Fabulous stuff and I can't wait to show my daughter, she loves your work.
She is six and loves drawing and coloring. I think she gets it from my mother in law who is really an awesome artist. Like a lot of kids she loves cartoons and I want to show her real cartoons instead of the new stuff they push. She loves Betty Boop, Little Audry, Tom and Jerry, plus the early Disney stuff. She really gets a kick out of seeing the pencil sketch's and then the finished clean up. I will bring her by tonight to see the new stuff you added.
Pshaw. I've been doing 'cartoon piles' for ages. 'Cept I call themn 'Art Splurges' You may have the upper hand on skill, style and just worthyness as a human beuing. But I've totally got you on innovation in that particular field of cartoon display!
Your art is soooo fantastic! Everything is so energetic and fun to look at! Best of luck to you and Chris on the show!(ooh, and because you mentioned you like kid feedback, my 11 year old sister is in love with the Constellations!)
Yes! More cartoon piles please!
